Craig was as busy as ever last weekend, when he was once again proud to host the ECHO Pride of Merseyside Awards at the Rum Warehouse in Liverpool’s Titanic Hotel on the evening of Friday 4th September. He took to the stage, for the third consecutive year, alongside fellow celebrity host, actress Patricia Penrose, well known for her role playing Gina Ward in the popular ITV drama Heartbeat.
The ceremony seeks to honour people who put their own lives to one side to help others, people who make a difference by caring, sharing and going the extra mile and people who achieve extraordinary things in the face of near-impossible odds. It takes in 11 categories, including everything from Courage and Community Group to Sports Team and Fundraising.
Craig said of the Pride of Merseyside Awards, “They are the perfect platform to highlight the kindness, generosity, courage and human spirit of the people of Liverpool.”
