After their engagement in Australia last year - where Craig romantically got down on one knee after climbing the Harbour Bridge in Sydney - he and his long-term partner, Laura, have finally said 'I do'.
Their special day took place in the stunning Peckforton Castle, Cheshire, on Friday 9th February where hundreds of their friends and family gathered to see the couple officially become, Mr and Mrs.
The wedding also had another special touch…
Always wanting to give to charity whenever possible, Craig and Laura asked their hundreds of guests not to bring them wedding gifts, but instead to donate to Helen & Douglas House- a hospice very close to the heart of Laura and her family.
Laura's brother Daniel was diagnosed with a brain tumour shortly after he was born, and after three years battling the disease there came a point towards the end of his life where he was in a lot of pain but there was nothing more the doctors could do.
Laura's mum remembered hearing about Helen & Douglas House, a hospice which provides care for terminally ill children and youngsters and provides families with crucial support when they need it the most. The hospice was on hand to make Daniel as comfortable as possible and gave Laura's family the opportunity to make the most of their time with him.
Clearly a charity that has impacted Laura and her family, Laura will also be going one step further in her donations and has made the decision to auction off her wedding dress!
Their Just Giving page has already surpassed the target and has raised £3,080.00 for the cause https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/inlovingmemoryofdanny.
Now the wedding is over, the couple's attentions will once again return to their next joint venture, Mr and Mrs DIY. Combing their passion for DIY the pair hope to make DIY more accessible to all and will share their tips and demonstrations on social media.
Congratulations on your marriage Craig and Laura, enjoy your honeymoon!
