Craig Appears at ToolFair 2011

Professional Builder Toolfair at the Ricoh Arena

This week Craig attended the Professional Builder Toolfair at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on behalf of Blaklader work clothing.

The ToolFair is a unique and dynamic 'hands-on' event where trade users of tools can see and try out first hand what's new in power tools and hand tools. ToolFair is organised in association with UK's leading range of building trade magazines. With a combined circulation of over 260,000, Professional Builder, Professional Electrician and Professional Heating and Plumbing Installer are distributed via merchant/wholesaler trade counters. It is this experience that has produced an in-depth understanding of the buying habits of tradesmen and shaped the continued development of the ToolFair show.

During the event Blaklader ran an incentive called 'Get your Kit Off' in which tradesmen were invited to ditch their old Work trousers / jackets in a bin on the stand and to swap them with new Blåkläder garments for a special price.

David Snelling, UK Managing Director of Blaklader said, "We had asked Craig to encourage people onto the stand & to participate in the offer which he did really well, interacting with the tradesmen perfectly. The stand was quickly full and he was soon changing his intended role to helping with sizes, selling the clothes and in many cases up-selling by adding jackets etc. to the original sale – fantastic! He also signed special edition T-Shirts for the customers, some of whom were amazed to see a TV personality on our stand!"
