Craig Phillips is delighted to be the UK celebrity ambassador for Blåkläder, working with them across a range of products. Blåkläder develop, produce and distribute work wear, gloves and shoes for tradesmen with high demands on functionality, quality and design.
The Company
Blåkläder has produced and distributed working clothes since 1959, mainly for the Swedish market. We are now one of Sweden's largest manufacturers in the heavy-duty working garment field. Our annual production is about 1 million garments, from our own factories.

In addition to Sweden, they have representation in the following countries: Norway, Finland, England, Ireland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Canada, USA and Austria. For them, work wear is a tool for better performance. The functionality of their products makes your job easier and offer maximum protection. This is their mission:
"Through respect of our identity, our roots and to maintain our brand and the soul of Blåkläder, we will develop, produce and sell workwear, gloves and shoes. Our products should make the job easier and give maximum protection."

They produce approximately 2 million garments each year entirely in our own factories/plants, where their primary materials are cotton and various synthetic fibers. They have asked ourselves the question what impact their activities have on the environment. The textile industry through it's need for energy to supply production, pesticides, large quantities of chemicals used for dyeing garments as well as other treatments have historically had a negative impact on our environment. Therefore the impact of their own production lines on the environment has been a concern.
They have made serious efforts to be as eco-friendly as possible and at AB Blåkläder our efforts to establish our current environmental management system has met ISO 14001 requirements.
